This set was an exception to that, it was an actual ship and it came with a bunch of minifigures. The ship itself was very well done with the cloth sails, fore castle, and decorative bits. For a small set it came with a good mix of minifigures, two of which had faces (still very rare in castle). Two of the minis were Black Falcons for the crew to tangle with. You also got a lot of extra weapons and shields. This set will always be fondly remembered by me for having epic lego voyages.
